OVER 20 children from a Flackwell Heath cubs club have been given a special award.
In total 24 of the 1st Flackwell Heath Cubs, which has 30 members, were given the Chief Scouts Silver award this month.
This is the highest award a Cub can receive and to qualify for it they must earn six other badges, called “Challenge badges”, during their two years in Cubs.
Cubs received their badges at a special ceremony just before Easter, attended by parents, the District Commissioner and other people who have supported the pack.
