AN exhibition showing off the expertise of pupils started today.
In March students at Princes Risborough School took part in a portrait-painting workshop sponsored by West Wycombe Decorative and Fine Arts Society.
The project took place over two days and was headed by portrait artist Peter Keegan.
The aim was to help develop existing portrait skills and to encourage students to experiment with a new approach to the subject.
Each student was asked to produce a portrait of themselves or someone they knew well. The workshop was inspiring for the participants and the high standard of work produced shows lots of artistic talent.
An exhibition of the finished paintings will be on display at Princes Risborough Library from April 28 to May 31 and there will be a competition with prizes awarded for the best portraits.
