COMIC book characters are set to descend on Chesham tomorrow as a store celebrates National Free Comic Day.
The new-look Alternate Universe Comics shop in High Street, which takes over from Axion Comics, is hosting the event and giving visitors free comics to add to their collections.
And a competition for the best fancy dress costume will also be running, with prizes being awarded in three categories - childrens', comic heroes and comic villains. The overall winner will receive a store credit voucher.
Chesham-based comic author and artist Ash Hewerdine will also be signing copies of his own comic, Deathridge, at the store throughout the day.
