A MAN who was involved in a car collision which resulted in a road closure in Loudwater earlier today has been arrested.

A gold BMW collided with a black Honda Civic near the Loudwater roundabout at 11am today.

The 29-year-old man from High Wycombe was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of a crime and for being unfit to drive through drugs, police said.

They added the gold BMW was seen to overtake several vehicles before being involved in a head-on collision with a black Honda Civic, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The BMW did not stop following the incident.
