TODDLERS celebrated a ‘very British day’ to celebrate St Georges Day last week.

The Children from Little Willows nursery had great fun face painting, making flags and eating homemade traditional fish and chips.

About 30 children took part in the day of fun last Wednesday, April 23.

Nursery manager, Lisa Crane said: “We have our ‘very British day’ to celebrate. We had quite a bit of a fun, they did face painting, made flags and had some fish and chips.

“The children all seemed to really enjoy themselves. They particularly liked the fish and chips but most of them left the mushy peas.”
