FAMILIES can enjoy a fun-filled day out at Wycombe Arts Festival's May Fayre on The Rye on Bank Holiday Monday.

The May Fayre, which has been running for nearly 30 years, will take place on May 5. I

n addition to the traditional activities of Maypole dancing and Schoolchildren's Line Dancing, it will have an international feel with Filipino and Polish dancing displays. The Mlody Las Polish dance troupe and the Jackie Palmer Dance Group will be among those showcasing their talents.

Key arena events include a Children's Fancy Dress Parade and Judging, the Katy Kartwheel hulahoop spectacular, Zumba vibrant dance and the Sea Cadets Marching Band.

There will also be a chance to participate in a football penalty shoot-out, a bouncy assault challenge, face painting, roller horse, a magic show and a golf putting challenge.

Entertainment and refreshments will be provided all day, with a beer tent and hot food as well as cakes and popcorn.

There will be stalls selling jewellery, new toys, plants and books, as well as the chance to enter a Prize Draw to win £1000.

Admission is free and there is ample parking on site - approach from Bassetsbury Lane (down the side of the HW Cricket club on the A40).
