A CHARITY skydive helped raise more than £5000 for a Bucks Church.
St Mary’s Church in Farnham Royal received a boost with £5500 raised to make repairs to the historic church tower.
Eight skydivers from the area jumped over Chiltern Park Airfield at 12,000 feet.
Leading the fundraising campaign, Jerry Houdret, said, “Thanks to these eight and their sponsors and supporters, we had a wonderful day with an amazing result.
“With only a few thousand pounds still needed, St Mary’s has decided to proceed with the works immediately, and the scaffolding is already in place”.
