A MAN had to be cut out of his car after a crash on the M40 last night.

The motorist was injured in the collision, which happened on the northbound stretch of the motorway between junctions 2, for Beaconsfield, and 3, Loudwater, shortly before 9.30pm.

Fire crews from Beaconsfield fire station freed the trapped driver from his car, which was the only vehicle involved in the incident.
