A WOMAN had to be cut-out of her car following a collision this morning and has now been taken to hospital along with her 10-year-old daughter.

The driver of the black BMW complained of back and neck pain and had to be cut-out of the vehicle to prevent the chance of further injury, according to police.

The woman believed to be in her late 30s was cut-out of the vehicle and placed on a stretcher before being taken to hospital.

Her daughter who went with her is said to have very minor injuries, but the condition of the mother is not known.

The driver of the other car involved was left with no injuries.

Police and firefighters are still at the scene on the A40 London Road as they wait for the car to be recovered.

The accident took place between the Loudwater roundabout and the Premier Inn, in the Wycombe bound direction of the A40.

A cordon is in place but traffic is moving quite freely.
