A SCHEME which has been introduced in High Wycombe to help improve the town, could be rolled out to Princes Risborough.
A Business Improvement Disirict is an area, where businesses pay an additional tax to fund projects within the area.
The scheme in High Wycombe is now in its second year of its five year term and is laying foundarions to underpin the future economic prosperity of the town.
Cllr Bill Bendyshe-Brown, who is town, district and county cllr for Princes Risborough, said there has been a positive response from businesses so far.
He said: "BID is something we are pushing forward for. We are very excited we have got it going."
The next phase to have a meeting with all the retailers and explain it to them.
He said: "We then have to start a formal process of consultation. We need 51 per cent of approval from retailers to bring it in."
