A MARLOW-based district councillor claims there are “a number of issues” with plans to build a block of new flats, houses and shops in Marlow town centre.
Former WDC leader Alex Collingwood is unhappy with Shanly Homes’ proposal to knock down Windsor House on Spittal Street and build a three storey mock-Georgian building.
He said though he is happy to see the current offices replaced with a residential block, there are “too many houses and not enough parking” for the town centre development.
Cllr Collingwood has also requested that the application goes in front of the full WDC planning committee if officers recommend it for approval.
WDC is expected to rule on the plans next month.
