HEARING Dogs for Deaf People in Saunderton benefited from a group of workers helping out at their HQ.
Last Thursday, 12 volunteers from the Aylesbury office of McAfee, carried out gardening tasks and helped train and socialise dogs and puppies at the Saunderton site.
McAfee employee Sarah Mathews from Wooburn Green said: "The Community Day at Hearing Dogs has been so well organised and the staff have been very welcoming. It’s been such an uplifting, positive experience and I feel that the work we’ve done is really valuable to the charity."
With hearing loss on the rise and one in six people in the UK suffering from some form of deafness, the charity is training more hearing dog puppies than ever before.
