MARLOW’S firefighters were called into action last Saturday during a mammoth operation - but instead of dousing flames the crew were hosing downs cars for charity.
The team at Marlow Fire Station, along with some help from friends and family members, rolled up their sleeves to raise over £400 for towards the Firefighters Charity and cancer research charities.
Watch manager Richard Boast said: "We all got our hands dirty for the cause and yes, they did all throw buckets of water at me at one point.
"I’m normally barking orders at them so it’s good to have a bit of fun from time to time!"
