POLICE are looking for a woman who may have witnessed an alleged rape in a small Bucks village.

Officers said last Thursday, May 15 between 8.30 and 9.30pm a teenage boy and a teenage girl were talking in a pathway between Hambye Close and Church Lane in Lacey Green.

Police said the boy then allegedly sexually assaulted the girl, during which a woman is thought to have walked past.

Investigating officer, Det Con Suzie Price from High Wycombe Force CID, said: "I am particularly interested in speaking to a woman who may have passed by the teenagers during this incident.

"She may have important information which could help in this investigation. I would urge her or anyone else who may have seen anything to contact me via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101."

A 14-year-old boy from Princes Risborough was arrested on May 15 on suspicion of rape and bailed until August 23.
