A POWER cut in High Wycombe has left many businesses and shops unable to stay open.
Wide reports have suggested there were power cuts in the Wycombe Marsh and on the outskirts of the town.
Customers at the Wycombe Marsh Retail Park may not be allowed in some stores as power is either still down or machines are not functioning.
A customer assistant at M&S Simply Food, High Wycombe, said: “The store is currently shut, I am not sure if there is a backup generator but at the moment it would not be sensible to allow people in.”
Reports have also been made that power was down in Hazlemere for just over 30 minutes.
Scottish and Southern Energy have reported power cuts in Flackwell Heath but have not confirmed if any other parts of High Wycombe have been affected.
