FORMER Wycombe Labour members have been elected councillors in London.
Alan D’eath, the former deputy chairman of the group who lived with his parents in Hazlemere until moving to London, won a seat on Hammersmith and Fulham Council.
Andrew Lomas was elected on to Kensington and Chelsea Borough Council last week.
He lost to Steve Baker in the race to become Wycombe MP in the 2010 General Election.
Ian Bates, Leader of the Labour Group on Wycombe District Council, said: “We are delighted two of our local candidates have won council seats in London previously held by the Conservatives.
“We are sure they will represent their constituencies well and will stand up for the basic Labour values of fairness, equality and tolerance.”
