AFTER hundreds took to the streets for this month’s Marlow 5 race, runners across the area are now limbering up for the next challenge of the spring, which takes place this weekend.

Marlow FM’s 10km Radio Run kicks off on Sunday from Higginson Park, with organisers hopeful for a turnout like last year, which saw around 400 runners take on the scenic course.

The run takes participants along the Thames Path towards Hurley, with the finishing line back in Higginson Park.

Sunday’s race will help raise cash for the radio station, which is run by volunteers.

Entry costs £12 for running club members, £14 for independent runners in advance and £17 to sign up on the day.
