THERE is till time left to buy tickets to a champagne afternoon tea exclusively designed with the Thame Food Festival in mind.

The festival has teamed up with Raymond Blanc's Oxfordshire country house hotel, Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.

Raymond is a patron of the festival, which is taking place this year on September 27 in Thame.

On June 2 at 2.30pm supporters of the festival can enjoy a a private tour of the Le Manoir Gardens with the expert gardeners on hand to walk you through the impressive two-acre plot.

This includes a Japanese tea garden created by landscape designer Robert Ketchell and La Vallée de Champignons, the unique mushroom valley. Then it will be time for tea in the elegant setting of La Belle Époque private dining room, with a glass of Le Manoir Champagne and a afternoon tea of sandwiches, patisserie du jour and homemade scones, jam and clotted cream.

The experience has been created especially for this year’s Thame Food Festival by Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
