THERE are two applications for large developments being proposed in Monks Risborough.

The two sites are both in Mill Lane and are being put forward by two different developers.

They will eventually come to Wycombe District Council for planning determination.

Members of the public can can find out more about these, how they fit into the Local Plan options and what the planning application process and timescales are at a ‘meet the planners’ session being held at Monks Risborough Primary School, Peters Lane, Monks Risborough this afternoon between 4 and 8pm.

In addition, the landowner of the Molins site is holding a pre-application meeting about a proposed development, The Haven, also at Monks Risborough school tomorrow.

This open meeting will take place from 12 to 2.30pm and 6 to 8pm tomorrow.

Mrs Hoover says...

These planners clearly don't care or want to know what local residents think about their proposed developments as otherwise they would have given more notice of the meeting. This article posted at 3.41 pm today, for a meeting starting at 4.00pm, and during half-term week when lots of residents will be either away, or out with their children. Not every local resident reads the BFP website, so how would they even know this meeting is taking place? The planners want to be 'seen' doing the right things, but its all just for show.
