A TOWN centre supermarket is to have a temporary shutdown next week as part of a refurbishment.
The Sainsbury's store in Chesham will be closed for a week while work to complete a modernisation of the shop is carried out.
The refurbishment has been taking place for the last month, with the shop remaining open during that time, but the final piece of work requires it to be completely closed.
It will shut up shop at 6pm on Tuesday, June 3, and will fully re-open at 9am on Wednesday, June 11.
The store car park will also be closed for the duration of the work but pedestrian access will be maintained.
Sainsbury's Project Manager David Gilderdale said: "Our revamped store will offer a wider variety of fresh food counters from a more modern and attractive looking store. We very much hope that the local community will welcome the new look to our store and we would like to thank customers for their patience whilst we complete the refurbishment."
