DARTS players are getting ready to go round the clock as they bid to raise thousands for charity.

A team of seven from The Chequers in Amersham will be taking part in a 24 hour darts marathon at the pub next week.

They will be raising money for the Amersham-based Aaron West Goalkeeping Academy, John Radcliffe Hospital, the Florence Nightingale Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The team hope to raise at least £3,000 from the event - double what they raised the last time they held a darts marathon.

They step up to the oche from 7.30pm on Friday, June 13, and a raffle and auction will take place 24 hours later.
