NEW proposals to redevelop land near a college for housing have been submitted - despite the original plans facing a 'record' number of reasons for objection.
Plans to build new homes next to Amersham and Wycombe College's Stanley Hill campus were unanimously rejected by Chiltern District Council last year.
Members of the planning committee came up with 11 reasons for refusal for the 35 proposed homes, with concerns over traffic and intrusion into the privacy of existing homes in adjacent Lincoln Park chief among them.
But the developer which put forward the plans, Surrey-based Croudace Homes, has this week submitted fresh proposals to the council.
They are for 22 three and four bedroom houses, two maisonettes and a block of eight flats.
The new set of plans are likely to be discussed by the council planning committee in September.
