TWO flat screen televisions were stolen from a house in High Wycombe.

Between 10.30pm on May 31 and 3pm on June 1, burglars broke into a house in Burma Close.

Officers believe they climbed in through an upstairs window after getting onto an adjacent shed roof.

Det Con Alex Kratky, from High Wycombe Local CID, said: “One of the televisions had a large, heavy steel stand attached to its underside and would have required at least two people to move it as it is extremely heavy.

“I would like to appeal to anyone who may have seen anybody hanging around in the area, anyone carrying a television on the night in question or any vehicles in the area, to get in touch with me.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who subsequently may have been offered one of the televisions for sale.”

One of the televisions is a LG 47 inch black flat screen. The other is a Tevion 47 inch black flat screen with a metal stand.
