A BREAKFAST networking event to help disadvantaged people into employment will be hosted by a charity in High Wycombe.

The Shaw Trust runs a host of training courses to help people learn new skills to boost their confidence and chances of employment – these range from maths and English classes to retail skills courses.

The charity – based at the Apollo Centre – will be launching its traineeships in July, which will initially be open to people aged between 19 and 24.

It is kicking off the programme with a networking breakfast event at the centre in Desborough Road between 9am and 10am on July 1.
