THE diverse culture of the residents of High Wycombe will be celebrated during the annual Wycombe Community Festival next month.
The colourful carnival parade will kick off the July 12 festival on The Rye at noon, which will be hosted by BBC Radio 1 Xtra DJ Seani B.
It will feature live musical performances and workshops, while a host of the town’s sports clubs will also be running coaching sessions.
A variety of world foods and stalls will also be available for visitors to peruse.
Jacqueline Roberts, from SV2G which is organising the event, said: "It’s a free, family fun day that showcases Wycombe’s rich cultural diversity."
If any businesses or organisations would like to sponsor the event or would be interested in setting up a stall on the day, email wycombecommunityfestival@sv2g.org.uk or call 01494 459449.
