KIDDIE Karts, laser guns and a mechanical surfboard were on offer for students at a Gerrards Cross school’s Summer Fair on Saturday.

Despite the threat of rain forcing the Thorpe House School to cancel this year’s Triathlon there was still plenty of entertainment and fun to be had.

Traditional games on Saturday, June 7, also included tombola, lucky dip, face painting, hook-a-duck stalls and a penalty shoot-out stall.

Visitors were also treated to a Hog Roast, donuts, pizza as well as a number of refreshments.

Headmaster, Anthony Lock, said: “I have enjoyed many Summer Fairs during my time at Thorpe House and I am sad that this will be my last as Headmaster. I’d like to thank the Parents’ Association and everyone here today for working so hard to make this a success.”
