FESTIVAL spirit is returning to a Bucks village next week with the grounds of a primary school taking centre stage.

Following the great success of last year, JuniperFest is going to return to Flackwell Heath next Saturday.

Performed on the grounds of Juniper Hill School in Churchill Close, the event will see a number of headline acts as well as a host of entertainment.

Despite the damp weather last year the atmosphere proved the event was a success and it is now due to wow crowds again.

The Vice Chair of the Friends of Juniper Hill School, Emma Forrest, is looking forward to this year’s show.

She said: “We hope JuniperFest will become a must attend event for those in Flackwell Heath and the surrounding area.

“It was very well received last year and we're sure this year will be even better.”

Music will be performed across two stages this year with headliners The Midnight Rebel Band performing on the main stage.

They will be supported by a number of acts including Komodo Krimes, Genie and The Jive Bombers, Crinkle Cuts and Rock Doctors.

Sam Brett will also be playing on the main stage and headlining the Orchard Stage where he will be joined by a number of acoustic acts.

As well as the music on offer there will also be activities for children.

There will be some different storytelling sessions and a number of free activities including craft tents and more.

There is also going to be a beer tent with many refreshments on offer.

This year’s festival will also play host to an annual football tournament between the children of Juniper Hill and the Carrington Schools.

The event will be held for almost ten hours on Saturday, June 21.

The festival will start from 11am and will continue until 8pm.

Tickets are £10 for an adult and £7.50 for children. A family of four ticket is £30 whilst a family of five (maximum of two adults) is £35.
