THE M40 has reopened after a crash this afternoon involving two lorries, with an air ambulance landing at the scene.
Traffic was queuing back to junction 6 after the incident, which happened between Junction 5 for Stokenchurch and 4 for Handy Cross, High Wycombe at around 12.10pm.
A Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance arrived at 12.55pm and departed for John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford at 1.47pm.
An air ambulance spokesman confirmed the helicopter transferred one patient to hospital.
Police believe none of the injuries were life threatening.
