RAIL commuter are facing long delays this evening after a freight train blocked the northbound line from London to South Bucks.
The train has broken down between Gerrards Cross and Seer Green, meaning there are no services running on the Marylebone to Birmingham line, which also stops at Beaconsfield, High Wycombe and Princes Risborough.
Chiltern Railways currently estimates that services will be able to resume from around 6pm.
But there may be some delays and last minute cancellations as the operator gets the service back to normal.
Tickets are being accepted acceptance with Virgin, London Midland, FGW and Arriva bus route 300 between Aylesbury and High Wycombe.
