A SUPPORTIVE relationship has blossomed between a football club and community bus.

The Risborough Area Community Bus has been driving dedicated fans of Risborough Rangers Football Club to away matches since January.

The club, who play in the South Midlands League Division One, has increased its attendance at matches at its home ground in Risborough significantly.

Over the last season it was decided a RRFC travel club should start to accommodate fans at away games too.

Co-ordinator Georgina Carlin and her helpful drivers stepped in and have been supplying their 14 seater bus for the majority of Rangers away games since the turn of the year.

RACB Chairman Peter Johnson said: "RACB has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to support our local team for their away matches by providing our bus service to supporters - and as a bonus we [the volunteer drivers] have been able to watch some really good games. We look forward to providing our services again for next season's away fixtures."
