TWO girls were injured this morning after a car collision in High Wycombe.

Firefighters had to release three girls and two boys after the collision in Rutland Avenue earlier.

They said two of the girls were injured, although their current condition is not yet known.

Two fire engines from High Wycombe were called to the scene at about 8.45am.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the five people from two cars.

Police confirmed they also attended the collision between a red Skoda Fabia and a blue Citroen C3.
