DAPPER partygoers were rewarded for their efforts for the first time this year after the introduction of a ‘best-dressed’ competition at the Marlow Town Regatta last weekend.

The most sartorially soave at Saturday's race day were given prizes donated by Marlow shops and businesses in recognition of their unique style.

With a strict dress code already in place within Saturday’s Higginson Park enclosure, winners were acknowledged for going above and beyond the call of dressing up duty.

Best-dressed woman went to Jenny Dawes, who picked up a shopping spree at White Company.

Doing it for the men was Nick Halzer, who bagged a free lunch for two at Villa D’Este and best dressed young person Erin Harris will enjoy a free haircut at Harringtons.

Not to be outdone, Conner Klein won the boys category with a haul of free toys from Marlow Toys and Pippa Mason will tuck into sweet from Beehive Treats after winning best dressed girl.
