A VIBRANT town centre is set to become even brighter from this week as lines of flags along shopfronts add to the summer carnival atmosphere.

Marlow Town Council has agreed to install red, white and blue flags to add to the bunting on the High Street erected last month.

The diagonal striped flags will adorn the row of shops on West Street and Spittal Street, using the same mountings as the Christmas trees during December.

Work is expected to begin this week at a budgeted cost of £2150.
