THREE young siblings raised almost £300 for a charity close to their hearts after cycling more than 15 miles at the weekend.
Olivia, 8, Matilda, 6, and Tobias, 4, from Beaconsfield cycled 15.6 miles along the Phoenix Trail between Thame and Princes Risborough to raise money for Meningitis Now.
The Melvin family decided to raise money for the charity after their Godmother’s son, Isaac Napier, contracted bacterial meningitis last year, at just 18-months-old.
Matilda said: “We love cycling so we decided that doing a cycle challenge would be a great way to raise money.
Their Godmother, Charli Napier, has raised £3000 for the charity after taking part in the Three Peaks Challenge.
Fortunately, Isaac survived but this illness is often fatal.
