STUDENTS are being urged to make the ultimate sacrifice for charity on Friday by giving up their mobile phones for 24 hours.
The Beaconsfield School in Wattleton Road, are challenging their students to raise money by handing their phones in for a day on Friday, June 27.
Students are being asked to give their mobiles to parents at 8am and only have them returned 24 hours later.
The person who raises the most money in each year group will receive house points, while the overall best fundraiser will receive a special prize.
There will also be a mufti-day at the school to help raise funds for the Stoke Association.
