AFTER backbreaking stints whipping a hospice gardens into shape, Rotary Club members from across the district have returned to give residents a financial boost as well.
Rotarians from Marlow Thames, Marlow and High Wycombe presented a cheque for £22,000 at Pusey House, run by South Bucks Hospice.
The cash came from fundraising drives at the Marlow Santa Fun Run and Wycombe’s Sporting Lunch and Dragon Boat event.
The presentation took place in the garden of the hospice on Amersham Hill, where members put in shifts during the spring to spruce up the area for the summer.
South Bucks Hospice will use the money to establish the garden at the new respite centre being built on the old Kingswood School site in Totteridge.
