HEAVY rain did not dampen the spirit of residents in Beaconsfield on Saturday as the Donkey Derby raced back into town.
The showpiece event of the Beaconsfield Lions Club and St Marys and All Saints School, offered something for everyone this year.
As well as the main event of the donkey races there were also lots of rides, entertainment and refreshments on offer.
There was barbeque and a bar, as well as an arts and craft stall, an assault course, a bouncy castle, a caricaturist, a rope swing ride and an octopus ride.
