AN elderly man from Flackwell Heath has been reported missing and police have said they are concerned for his welfare.

Bruce Adams, 80, was last seen at his home by his wife at around 3am this morning.

Sometime in the early hours, Mr Adams has left his home and the area in his brown Nissan Note.

PC Duncan Gallagher said: “Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras have shown his vehicle entering the London area earlier today.

“Bruce suffers from dementia and diabetes, so we are very concerned for his welfare and would urge him or anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible."

Mr Adams is white, around 6ft tall, bald and with a thin build. He is believed to be wearing green trousers, a grey button-up top and canvass-type shoes.

He is also disabled so requires the use of a walking stick to get about.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
