THE Roald Dahl Museum's poet in residence Paul Lyalls will be in position to entertain young visitors with two poetry classes this weekend.
Plexicated poetry classes will take place at the museum in High Street, Great Missenden, at 1pm and 3pm on Sunday, July 6.
Then four days later he'll be in High Wycombe helping to launch a book containing Roald Dahl-inspired poetry written by pupils at six schools in Bucks.
They include poetry to fit inside the Big Friendly Giant’s Dream Bottles, poems creating new situations for Roald Dahl characters such as Mr Twit goes to China Town, and haiku that could be written on a Golden Ticket.
The launch takes place at the Oak Room of the Wycombe Swan and will be attended by some of the children who helped create the book.
Meanwhile places on the poetry sessions can be booked by calling 01494 892192 up until 4.30pm on Saturday. Tickets are £3 per person plus museum entry.
