MORE than £3,000 was raised in aid of Wycombe Wanderers by a charity climb up Snowdon.
Fan Lisa Bowker and Trust director David Roberton pulled on their hiking boots for the trek to the top of Wales' highest mountain on Sunday.
They were joined by fans from clubs including Chester, Kidderminster and Hereford in a charity walk organised by Wrexham supporters to mark the Welsh club's 150th anniversary.
It took the duo two hours to reach the summit and a further two to descend again, having spent an hour and a half at the top with their fellow fans.
Mrs Bowker, from Chinnor, said: "I was so proud to represent the club and wear Gareth's shirt. It was a day I will never forget, it was amazing."
To add to the £3,000 the pair have so far raised in sponsorship email Colin Treacher on secretary@wycombewandererstrust.com.
