STUDENTS from The Beaconsfield School arrived to their Year 11 prom in style last week.

The majority of students would have made the short trip from Beaconsfield to the Uplands Hotel in High Wycombe by car, but seven lucky students flew in by helicopter.

The six boys and one girl were taken in two trips in the helicopter which was organised by one of the parents.

Nicola Pollard said: “They all really enjoyed it. I don’t think any of them had been in a helicopter before.

“I would really like to thank Neil McLaren whose company Adventure 001 organised the trip.”

She added we were very lucky to take off from the Hall Barn Estate in Beaconsfield too.
