A 17-YEAR-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of witness intimidation in relation to a sexual offences case.
The teenager from High Wycombe was arrested on Tuesday and has been released on bail until July 28.
Police said the arrest is in relation to an alleged message sent on social media on Monday to a witness in a sexual offences case, prior to a court appearance.
Investigating officer Det Con Kim Twaite from High Wycombe Force CID said: "We will always take any allegations of witness intimidation seriously; anyone suspected of this will be arrested.
"It is a serious offence for which a person can be imprisoned for five years, we ask that people think about their actions before sending messages on social media."
