EXPENSIVE bicycles were stolen during a daylight burglary at a house in Monks Risborough last week, with police calling on the public to look out for them.

Between 6.30pm and 8pm on Friday, July 4, thieves made off with two high value and distinctive bikes from Place Farm Way.

One was a Scott men’s CRI road bike in matt grey. It has a carbon fibre frame, blue tyres, distinctive electric-blue bolts and a ‘Specialised’ saddle.

The second bicycle was a ladies mountain bike in white with purple branding, white handle grips, purple valve caps, front and rear mud guards and a white saddle.

If anyone has been offered bikes matching these descriptions, or saw anything in the area at the time, is asked to contact Det Con Alex Kratky at High Wycombe local CID on 101.
