A BUDDING author raised more than £200 for charity after the launch of her first novel.
HR consultant Amanda Hatter, donated £1 from every book she sold during the launch at the Beech House in Penn Road, Beaconsfield.
In a bid to make as much money as possible the Beech House also donated £1 for every hot drink sold.
The author was raising money for Help for Heroes charity, Words for the Wounded.
The national charity raises money to help in the recovery of wounded troops through writing prizes, events and donations.
Ms Hatter was able to raise £202 from the launch of ‘Callum Fox and the Mousehole Ghost’.
