IT was full steam ahead in Prestwood over the weekend as a variety of vintage vehicles arrived in the village to delight onlookers.
The annual Chiltern Steam Rally once more welcomed visitors to look at traction engines, cars, motorcycles, lorries, tractors and stationary engines, with plenty of rides for them to enjoy.
Also at the event, organised by the Chiltern Traction Engine Club and held at fields on Honor Lane, were model and craft tents, a children's funfair, market stalls and much more besides.
A large working area gave people a glimpse of steam engines driving saw benches, thrashing machines and a stone crusher. There was also a large timber loading area offering a look at how things were done in days gone by.
