Accident leaves northbound M40 shut between Beaconsfield and Loudwater
THE northbound carriageway of the M40 has been closed this morning after a serious car accident between Beaconsfield and Loudwater.
A car overturned by the central reservation near to junction 3, Loudwater, at around 5.15am and the carriageway was shut shortly after, from junction 2, Beaconsfield.
Accident investigation work is currently ongoing.
Traffic is currently being diverted north through Beaconsfield and High Wycombe via the A40, to rejoin the motorway at junction 4, Handy Cross.
