A SCHOOL in Beaconsfield had a drastic change this week as one of their students was given the job of Headteacher.
As part of St Mary & All Saints C of E Primary School’s tradition, one of the students was given control for the day.
This year the school, in Maxwell Road, appointed 10-year-old John Stubbs to the role.
During his day in charge on Tuesday, July 22, Headteacher Stubbs led the school assembly and also gave flowers to some of the teachers who were leaving the school this summer.
He was also given a morning tour of the school as he inspected the lessons.
His official duties were also carried on into the office as he had to sort through paperwork and sign important cheques.
John looked the part on the day as he took control from the Headteachers chair.
