A 47-YEAR-OLD has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was stabbed several times in Downley last night.
The 26-year-old victim was injured during an altercation outside a house in Brecon Way at 11.20pm.
He has been taken to Wexham Park Hospital, where he remains in what's described as a serious but not life threatening condition.
Police investigating the attack have today launched an appeal for information.
Det Sgt Richard Earl said: "This incident took place outside the property and was probably overlooked by many people.
"We would urge anyone whom was in the area and may have seen anything in relation to this incident or who knows anything about this incident to please come forward as a matter of urgency."
Anyone with information should contact Det Sgt Earl on 101, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
The man who was arrested remains in custody at High Wycombe police station, officers have said.
