THE grieving family of Kyrece Francis have paid tribute to their angel, who they say "touched everyone around him".
The tragic 13-year-old died after getting into difficulties in the River Thames at Marlow while playing with friends.
It's believed he was trying to retrieve a football from the river when he got into trouble, with friends being unable to rescue him.
In a tribute released through Thames Valley Police, Kyrece's family said: "We have not only lost a son but we have lost an angel that would make everyone around him smile.
"He was a very kind, well mannered and beautiful boy with a bright future in front of him. He has touched everyone around him. We will miss him with all our hearts and we hope that his legacy will live on."
Floral tributes to the popular Downley Dynamos footballer have been left by the riverside near to where he died.
A vigil in his memory took place outside the gates of Great Marlow School, where Kyrece was a pupil, yesterday.
