A 47-YEAR-OLD man has been charged following a stabbing in High Wycombe on Wednesday.

Frank Francis, of West Wycombe Road, was charged last night with one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and one count of grievous bodily harm with intent.

The charges relate to an altercation outside a property in Brecon Way at 11.20pm on July 23 in which a 26-year-old man was stabbed several times, police said.

He was taken to Wexham Park Hospital in what police described as a serious but not life threatening condition.

Francis is due to appear at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today.
